Q: What is voicemail?
Voicemail is a feature which allows callers to leave messages when you are unable to answer the phone. Your basic voicemail includes 25 stored messages.
Q: When will the voicemail service be upgraded?
On 27th April 2016, you will be able to access a new and upgraded voicemail service.
Q: What is the difference between the new voicemail system and the previous voicemail?
- We have moved to a new more robust platform
- Who Called message notifications for missed calls
- You will not be able to access any messages previously saved
Q: How do I set up voicemail on the new voicemail system?
On April 27th, to set up your voicemail call *123 from your phone enter default PIN 1234 and then follow the set up tutorial, which will guide you through recording a personal greeting, changing your voicemail settings and providing assistance.
Q: How do I activate voicemail, if I do not have it currently?
To get access to the voicemail service, please contact customer care, email email@example.com.
Q: How do I check my voice messages?
On April 27th we transitioned to a new voicemail system and it's very easy to access. You can check your voicemail by dialing *123
Q: How do I check the voice mail messages I saved previously on the previous voicemail sytem?
Up to June 19, 2016, you will be able to check your old saved messages on the previous voicemail system by dialing 345 943 6269.
Q: How do I check my messages from another phone?
To access your voicemail from another local phone, dial 345 947 6245. This service is free from a Flow phone in the Cayman Islands, however regular calling charges apply when dialing from another network.
Q: How do I access my voicemail when roaming?
To access your voicemail when roaming, dial 1 345 949 8279. Standard roaming charges apply to those calls please check our website www.discoverflow.ky/roaming
Q: How can I access or reset my password if I have forgotten it?
If you ever forget your voicemail password or have any problems logging into your voicemail account, please contact Customer Service for assistance, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: How much does it cost to retrieve messages – either on island or when roaming?
When in the Cayman Islands, retrieval of your messages is free, when you call *123 from your Flow phone. When roaming, access is not free and roaming charges will apply. These charges will depend on the country you are calling from and the network operator you are using please visit our website www.discoverflow.ky/roaming for more information.
Q: Can I have a permanent copy of a voice message?
Unfortunately, you are not able to get permanent copies of a voice message from the previous voicemail system. You can however record the message onto another device.
Q: What should I do if I cannot access my voicemail?
If you are unable to access your voicemail box, please contact customer care for assistance email email@example.com
Q: What should I do if I am not receiving the Who Called messages?
If you are not receiving the Who Called text messages, please contact customer care for assistance email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: What should I do if my unanswered calls are not going to voicemail?
If unanswered incoming calls are not directed to your voicemail box, please contact customer care for assistance, email email@example.com.
Q: What happens if my voicemail box is full?
If your voicemail box is full, you will receive a notification and a message advising you to clear your mailbox.
Q: Can I retrieve a deleted voice message?
Unfortunately, there is no way to retrieve a message once deleted.
